The nun of the monastery made a report “The Spiritual Feat of St. Athanasius of Brest” at the State Educational Institution Secondary School No. 33translated

On October 13, 2026, at the invitation of the leadership of the State Educational Institution Secondary School No. 33 in Brest and the head of the resource center for the development of tourism and local history Olga Sergeevna Peshko, nun Elena (Dmitruk) of the Holy Nativity of the Mother of God Monastery in Brest spoke to the students with a report “The spiritual feat of the Venerable Martyr Athanasius Brestsky".

The director, Yuri Dmitrievich Kozhanov, introduced nun Elena, thanked the children who are interested in local history, and emphasized the importance of spiritual and moral direction in the education of the individual. The head teacher for academic work, Alina Vladimirovna Cherednichenko, also joined his words.

As part of Orthodox local history, students of State Educational Institution Secondary School No. 33 are preparing works for a republican competition. This is probably why they were interested in the report and asked a lot of questions. A separate conversation took place with the head of the center, Olga Sergeevna Peshko, and Ekaterina Shkutnik, a student of 11 “A” class, who is preparing her report on the topic: “The life and work of the Venerable Martyr Athanasius of Brest.”
