People's Artist of Russia Dmitry Pevtsov met with youth representatives at the Don Theological Seminarytranslated

On October 9, 2026, a creative meeting with People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Dmitry Pevtsov took place in the assembly hall of the Don Theological Seminary.

The event was attended by the Head of the Don Metropolis, Metropolitan of Rostov and Novocherkassk Mercury, the vicar of the Rostov diocese, Bishop Artemy of Taganrog, the rector of the Don Theological Seminary, Archpriest Timofey Fetisov, heads of specialized Diocesan departments, the clergy of the diocese, teachers and students of the theological school, university students, representatives of Orthodox youth associations, as well as students of theater studios.

Dmitry Pevtsov’s visit was preceded by a meeting with Metropolitan Mercury of Rostov and Novocherkassk, during which an agreement was reached to hold a conversation with youth representatives.

Before the start of the meeting, the male choir of the Don Theological Seminary, conducted by the head of the regency and singing department, Hieromonk Averky (Shaposhnikov), performed spiritual chants and secular musical works.
