On October 26, 2026, on the day of the celebration of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God, with the blessing of the Head of the Don Metropolis, Metropolitan of Rostov and Novocherkassk Mercury, the abbot of the Don Starocherkassk Ephraim Monastery, Abbot Sergius (Kolomits), took part in the Diocesan monastic conference “Christian teaching about man and the challenges of modern technologies.”

The event took place in the assembly hall of the Ekaterinodar Theological Seminary in Krasnodar as part of the regional stage of the XXXV International Christmas Educational Readings.

On the day of the conference, participants prayed at the Divine Liturgy in the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Krasnodar.
