Awarding the winners of the competition “Serafimovsky Teacher - 2026”translated

On September 25, at the Center for Slavic Culture in the village of Diveeva, Nizhny Novgorod Region, an award ceremony was held for the winners of the pedagogical competition “Serafimovsky Teacher - 2026”. The awards to the winners and laureates were presented by the head of the Nizhny Novgorod Metropolis, Metropolitan Georgy of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, JSC Russian Railways, the clergy, as well as participants in the All-Russian conference “The Legacy of St. Seraphim of Sarov and Current Issues of Spiritual and Moral Education,” which united teachers from 45 constituent entities of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. The honorary title “Seraphim Teacher - 2026” was awarded to the representative of the Samara Metropolis, Maria Viktorovna Sinitsyna.

Maria Viktorovna is a teacher of additional education at the Children's Diocesan Educational Center of the city of Samara, artistic director of the Combined Children's Choir "Blago" of the Samara Diocese, head of the regency department of the Samara Theological Seminary and regent of the choir of the Samara Church in the name of the Great Martyr George the Victorious and the Holy Princes Boris and Gleb.
