The consecration of new gate icons on the Golden Gate in the city of Vladimir took place on November 4, 2026, on the Day of National Unity and the feast of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God.

This event marked the completion of the main external restoration work on one of the main symbols of the city - an outstanding monument of white stone architecture of the 12th century, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site “White Stone Monuments of Vladimir and Suzdal,” the press service of the State Vladimir-Suzdal Museum-Reserve told Foma magazine.
