On July 12, on the day of remembrance of the holy supreme apostles Peter and Paul, a summer holiday was held on the territory of the temple in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in the Zavolzhsky district of Ulyanovsk.

The event program included performances by creative groups of the Ruslan House of Culture, a bike show from the Night Wolves motorcycle club, demonstration performances by Cossacks, as well as kudo martial arts masters and representatives of the Northern Man association, sports competitions from the Figura Gym sports club. The director of school No. 50 organized an exhibition dedicated to the memory of her son, who died on the battlefields, as well as a diagram-exhibition dedicated to the feat of the Gostomel landing.

Master classes on weaving camouflage nets for SVO participants were organized for the guests of the festive program.

Everyone could treat themselves to aromatic pilaf and pizza, and children could enjoy cotton candy and popcorn.

Deputy of the legislative assembly of the Ulyanovsk region Vladimir Kameko, deputy of the Ulyanovsk City Duma Alexander Shubin and head of the department for church charity and social service of the Simbirsk diocese, Archpriest Pavel Putilkin, addressed the guests of the holiday with a welcoming speech.
