A family holiday was held on the territory of the Archangel Michael Churchtranslated

On September 19, on the day of remembrance of the miracle of the Archangel Michael, who was in Khoni (Colossae), a holiday “Family Values and Traditions” was held on the territory of the church in the name of the Archangel Michael in Alexander Park. Its organizers were the parish of the Archangel Michael Church, the department for work with youth of the Simbirsk diocese, the diocesan sports club "Muromets" and the diocesan school of bell-ringing art.

The festive program began with a master class on bell ringing, which was conducted by Vladimir and Mikhail, graduates of the school of bell ringing at the Simbirsk diocese.

Then the cleric of the Archangel Michael Church, Hegumen Pafnuty (Pichugin), performed a prayer service for the improvement of the family. The priest spoke about the history of the holiday and thanked everyone for their joint prayer. At the end of the prayer service, a religious procession was held around the church and through the territory of Alexander Park.

After the procession ended, Andrei Ovchenkov, a member of the Orthodox youth movement, held outdoor games for the children.
