A water reservoir was built in the Russian parish of Madagascar so that people would not have to walk 15 kilometers to get drinking water.translated

A special water tank was built at the parish of the martyr Leonid of Alexandria of the Russian Orthodox Church in the village of Andamuti in the Southwestern region of Madagascar.
The reservoir, capable of holding 30 cubic meters of water, was erected with the support of a donor from Russia, reports the website of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa.

It is noted that this parish is located in an arid semi-desert region of the country, so the water storage tank will greatly facilitate the life of local residents.
“Previously, people had to travel 15 km to get clean water,” the report said.
