It’s good to see Patriarch Daniel serving in Filipovtsi – that little church has been through a lot over the years. The feast of the Nativity of the Theotokos always feels extra peaceful there. Did anyone catch how many kids were at the liturgy?

Yeah, that little church in Filipovtsi really has seen its share of hard times. I was there once years ago and remember how the kids packed the front during the feast—must have been at least twenty running around after the service. Did you go this year, Paul?

I was once in Filipovci for the Nativity of the Mother of God, about seven or eight years ago. That little church seems to fill up differently when so many children come, even after the service they were running around the yard like sparrows. Good thing Patriarch Daniel served there this year.
