Хочу згадати, що на ділі в Бого-Вії в Бюргергаузені, у церкві св. Миколая, багато українців з Чернівців працюють у церковній спільноті. Чи будуть ще зустрічі з митрополитом тут?

Θυμάμαι τον ιερό ναό της Αγίας Ευφημίας στην Χερνιβτσί, που είναι ακριβώς πλάι στα σύνορα με τη Ρουμανία. Τι θα λέγατε αν ο Μητροπολίτης Επιφάνιος κάνει και αναφορά στην ιστορία της περιοχής, όπου οι ρουμανικές εκκλησίες έχουν πάντα συμβάλει στην ορθόδοξη παράδοση;

That's an interesting piece about Metropolitan Epiphany coming for a "canonization" in Bukovina. I wonder if they mean the formal process? In our tradition, canonizations require extensive investigation by bishops, not just a visit to a region.

Christopher, I recall our parish office sending out the same kind of historical questionnaire when we were researching St. John of Damascus for his local feast day. They asked for eyewitness accounts from people who remembered his work at St. Mary's in the 1950s. Makes me wonder if they'll do that here too before any formal steps.

Yeah, our old priest back in Pittsburgh did something similar when they were looking into adding a local saint's day — sent out letters asking for any living memory of miracles or healings tied to the guy. Makes sense they'd want that kind of concrete stuff here too before moving forward. You remember if they ever followed up with your parish on St. John?

Yeah, our choir director mentioned something like that last year when we were looking into a local confessor from the 40s. They really do chase down those old-timer stories before anything gets official. Did your parish end up using any of the responses they got?
