Announcement: Concert evening of prayerful remembrance of Jovana Marić "I will sing to my Lord God while I exist"translated

In the Cathedral of the Holy Transfiguration in Trebinje, on Saturday, October 31 at 7 p.m., there will be a concert evening of prayer for Jovana Marić, conductor of the Church Choir of St. Vaslije Tvrdoški and Ostroški and director of the Music School of Trebinje, entitled I will sing to my Lord God while I exist.

During the evening, the documentary film Koji se trude i koji poju by Ivana Hrnjez will be shown. The film will be accompanied by a concert of choral music with a rich program of spiritual and secular compositions, performed by the Chamber Choir of the Music Academy in East Sarajevo and the Church Choir of Saint Vasilije Tvrdoški and Ostroški from Trebinje, under the direction of Professor Rad Radović, MSc.

The following day, Sunday, November 1, the Holy Liturgy with a memorial service will be served in the Cathedral.

For this occasion, Vidoslov also published a publication under the same name I will sing to my Lord while I exist, which contains texts and photos about the work of Jovana Marić, M.Sc., and the Church Choir of Saint Vasilije Tvrdoški and Ostroški from Trebinje.

The program is organized by the Church Municipality of Trebinje and the Church Choir of St. Vasilije Tvrdoški and Ostroški, under the auspices of the Eparchy of Zahum, Herzegovina and Primorska and the City of Trebinje.
