And here in Constanța we celebrate Saint Elijah with a service and a hut. This year I baked warm bread especially for him, to share with the neighbors after Mass.

It's the same here in Constanța, the coliva and the warm bread come out best when you make them with St. Elijah in mind. This year I also put some fresh basil from the balcony over the cage, it gave a nice smell after the Liturgy. Did you also share with the block or just with the next door neighbors?

Here in Cluj, we also put basil on the cage, but this year I forgot to water it and it got a bit dry. Your warm bread sounds good, it would have turned out just like mom's. Did you put icing sugar on it too or did you leave it plain?
