We are Orthodox not only in good weathertranslated

Russian news channels are bursting with reports that there will be torrential rain all weekend and the promise of bitter cold. There are usually no such number of gloomy forecasts before any weather disaster.
What's the matter? It seems - I can guess. It's about the procession. Part of the journalistic fraternity and those who stand behind them really do not like Orthodoxy. And even more, they don’t like it when Russian Orthodox people gather together in large numbers to remind the city and the world of their faith, that Moscow is the Third Rome, this is Holy Rus', and not a city without tradition and truth.
The 2025 religious procession was a spontaneous outburst of emotions among Orthodox people who decided to remind that “Christians are the guardians, defenders, rulers and teachers of the city,” as St. John Chrysostom put it.
That march took place in good weather, and some were even a little burned. Now we are afraid of bad weather. Well, these threats alone are an important reason to leave everything tomorrow for a third of the day and come to the embankment near the Kremlin, proving to everyone that we are with Christ and his saints not only in good weather, and that no rain will separate us from the Glory of God.
