Music for doctors and patients: the Madrigal Choir will perform a concert at the Colțea Hospitaltranslated

The "Madrigal - Marin Constantin" National Chamber Choir, conducted by Anna Ungureanu, will perform a concert dedicated to doctors and patients at the Colțea Clinical Hospital in Bucharest on September 23.
According to a press release, the demonstration will start at 20:45 and will have the children from the Cantus Mundi choirs.
The concert takes place in the courtyard of the Colțea Clinical Hospital and marks World Patient Safety Day. Access is free, and the public can participate based on a prior reservation.
Music, in a register of care The event is part of the "Madrigal for hospitals" program, an initiative launched in 2026 by the Madrigal Choir and the Administration of Hospitals and Medical Services Bucharest (ASSMB), through which music is brought into medical spaces for patients, relatives and medical staff.
Psychologist and clinical music therapist Angelica Postu, president of the Romanian Music Therapy Association, believes that such cultural interventions can contribute to the well-being of those in the hospital environment.
