The National Art Museum of Romania hosted a session of scientific communications dedicated to medieval and pre-modern arttranslated

Art historians, specialists in the field of architecture, museographers, linguists, historians, clerics, theologians and researchers from the country and abroad participated, between September 24-25, in the scientific communications session "New data in the research of medieval and pre-modern art from Romania", organized by the National Art Museum of Romania and the "George Oprescu" Art History Institute of the Romanian Academy.

Hosted by the National Art Museum of Romania, the scientific event took place in a hybrid format, bringing testimonies and analyzes about medieval manuscripts, edifices, objects of worship, treasures and precious objects, icons and documents.

The fact that the event reached its 22nd annual edition denotes the foundation of the Medieval and Premodern Art Sector of the "George Oprescu" Art History Institute, Adrian Silviu Ionescu, the director of this institution, said for Trinitas TV.
