My six-year-old daughter has learned something about peopletranslated

October 29, 2026 · 1 min read

Deacon Dionisy AKHALASHVILI

When my six-year-old daughter learned that every person has a unique image of God, she was very happy. She liked people before, but now sometimes she just admires them. There was a funny incident recently.

Masha loves to jump. We agree with the girl-caretaker of the attraction for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes I look at Masha. A happy child is jumping, the girl is smiling, showing with all her appearance that she should not stop. Another 10 minutes pass. The girl continues to jump, the caretaker happily watches her. Half an hour later I come up and ask how much do I owe you? The girl smiles: “You owe me nothing! You have a wonderful child!”

We were walking down the street with Masha and asked how it happened that you were allowed to jump for almost half an hour for free? She smiles: “Dad, just a jumping girl – a very good person! Did you see how beautiful she is? I told her that she was the most beautiful woman I had ever met, and she allowed me to jump as much as I wanted! Because he’s a good person!”
