The legacy of Saint Nectarius the Protopsalt was evoked on Sunday through a church music concert, organized at the "Saints Archangels Michael and Gabriel" Cathedral in Vaslui.

At the opening of the event, Father Cosmin Gubernat, cultural advisor of the Diocese of Huși, conveyed the message of His Holiness Father Ignatius, and Archdeacon Cosmin-Vlăduț Mironescu presented the life and activity of the pious saint.

During the concert, the "Holy Martyr Chiriachi" Psaltic Group of the Episcopal Cathedral in Huși, the "Holy High Martyr Chiriachi" Junior Psaltic Group and the "Filomelos" Psaltic Choir of the Voivodeship Church in Borzești performed compositions by Saint Nectarie Protopsaltu.

The concert was organized by the Bishopric of Hușilor and the "Holy Martyr Chiriachi" Association.

Saint Nectarius the Protopsalt was canonized in the October 18, 2025 meeting of the Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and entered in the Calendar of the Romanian Orthodox Church on October 25, 2025, together with Saint Niphon from Prodromu (July 13).
