During the week, from September 6 to September 12, four large Orthodox religious processions took place in Moscow, Irkutsk, Elista and St. Petersburg, which, according to official data, together attracted more than 200 thousand people. Along with the clergy, believers and government officials, nationalist and far-right organizations took part in the processions. They were especially visible in Moscow and St. Petersburg, where they formed separate columns and called on supporters to join the events in advance.
