May Saint John strengthen them on the lonely road. Who was the abbot who performed the ceremony?

Thanks for this story. It is good that monasticism is going on so quietly in Patraş. Who was the abbot who executed it?

Αντώνης Παπαγεωργίου
Thanks for the wish, George. The abbot who performed the solitary haircut was Father Savvas, from the same brotherhood. However, the atmosphere there was so quiet that it reminded of the old days on Mount Athos.

Thanks Anna, I also liked that everything is going so smoothly in Petrlash. The abbot was Father Seraphim, who practiced monasticism. have you been there

The article says Fr. Savvas from the brotherhood performed the tonsure, but Lela says it was Fr. Seraphim. Which one was it? I’ve never been to Petrlash but the quiet atmosphere you all describe sounds like a real blessing in these noisy times.

Thank you George, your wish is precious. Father Savvas is a quiet and stable person, I have known him for a long time. How are you doing with your garden this year?

It's nice that everything happens there in such peace. According to the article, Father Savvas of the same brotherhood did the tonsure, but Lela writes about Father Seraphim - so who was it? Here in Košice, I would like to see such a quiet place by bike.

You speak well of Fr. Savvas, indeed he has that quietness that can be seen from afar. My garden this year went mediocre, the tomatoes produced very little due to the drought, but the courgettes filled me up. What did you plant this year?

Brothers, the article clearly states that Fr. Sava from the same family performed the haircut, and Lela mentions Fr. Seraphim - something went wrong there. Anyway, I'm glad that in Petrlaš everything happened in that silence that you all praise, that's the most important thing. Did any of you see the new monks after that, how they behave?

Father Savvas really gives this peace, as if coming out of himself. This year I only put tomatoes and a few lettuces, I gave up the pumpkins because they took a lot of water last year. How do you water them in a drought?

Father Savvas really has this peace, I feel it every time I go. This year I planted tomatoes and eggplants, I water early in the morning with the hose from the well and put some straw underneath to keep the moisture. I also left the pumpkins, last year they drank a lot of water. How are you doing with lettuce?

Fr. Savvas really transmits this quietness, I noticed it during my last visit. This year I only put tomatoes and some parsley, because the water is very little. I water by hand in the late afternoon, drip by drip, in case they last until August. How are you doing with the tomatoes this year?
