Good to see they're looking for young voices again. My eldest lad is 17 and sings a bit at home – does the choir meet on specific evenings in Cherepovets, or is it once a month? Might mention it to him.

Yeah, it's great they're actively recruiting again. They meet every Wednesday evening at 7pm in the cathedral hall in Cherepovets – nothing too heavy, just a couple of hours with tea afterwards. Your 17-year-old might enjoy it; tell him to drop in for a trial if he's free.

I liked that they are again looking for young people from 16 to 35. We also had such a choir in Vinnytsia once, but it disbanded because the young people left. And in Cherepovka, I see, the case is being handled, well. Maybe one of the sons I know will be interested.

Your lad might like the mix of serious singing and the chats over tea afterwards. They do meet every Wednesday at 7, but they also put on extra rehearsals before big feasts if you check the eparchy page. Have you heard him sing any particular church hymns at home?
