Prayer singing for those suffering from the disease of wine drinking or drug addictiontranslated

On September 11, the day of commemoration of the Beheading of John the Baptist, the All-Russian Day of Sobriety is celebrated. It was restored on July 25, 2014 by the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church (magazine No. 80).
After the Divine Liturgy, prayer singing should be performed in churches for those suffering from the disease of wine drinking or drug addiction. To help parishioners we publish the text of this rite. It is printed in Church Slavonic in Russian civil script, indicating accents in words.
Petitions will also be offered for those suffering from the ailments of drunkenness and drug addiction:
Let us pray to the Lord to look mercifully upon His servants from the ailments of drunkenness and drug addiction in soul and body, and to free them from the bonds of deadly passions,
Let us pray to the Lord to save His suffering servants from the destructive passions of drunkenness and drug addiction and to preserve them in saving passion and purity, abstinence and truth,
Let us pray to the Lord that they may come to God in repentance and overcome destructive passions, so that they will be partakers of eternal blessings,
for their mourning relatives, and for the acceptance of their prayers and sighs, let us pray to the Lord,
Let us pray to the Lord that he and we may be delivered from all sorrow, anger and need.
