Prayer service at the tax office of the Ruza districttranslated

July 24, 2026 · 1 min read

On July 17, in the building of the tax inspection of the Ruza municipal district, the dean of the Ruza church district, Archpriest Igor Lepeshinsky, performed a prayer service for the beginning of every good deed.

The ceremony was preceded by a sermon in which Father Igor reminded those present of the high calling of public service. The priest noted that the work of the fiscal authority is not just collecting duties, but also serving others, requiring special wisdom, patience and honesty. He emphasized that even in painstaking bureaucratic work there is a place for mercy and attentive attitude towards people, and a blessing from above helps to avoid mistakes and doubts.

Then the ceremony of consecrating the office premises was performed. Father Igor walked around the administrative offices, reception halls and work rooms, sprinkling them with holy water.

At the end of the visit, the priest blessed each inspection employee, wishing them strength of mind and body, clarity of mind when making decisions and angelic patience in dealing with people.

It is good that the building and the people were blessed. I remember how much trouble we had last year with a wrong entry in our tax office, maybe if they had been a little more patient and careful the mistake wouldn't have been made. Power to the employees, their job is not easy.

I agree with you, Niki, mistakes from the calendar create a lot of inconvenience. Last year my daughter waited two months for them to correct a wrong date on E9. I really wish they have patience and clear mind, their job is really boring and stressful.
