Prayer service with translation into sign language at the relics of the Holy Blessed Matrona of Moscowtranslated

With the blessing of His Eminence John, Archbishop of Brest and Kobrin, on October 27, 2026, a prayer service with interpretation into sign language was held in the Church of the Nativity of Christ in Brest for the wards of the Brest regional organization of the public association “Belarusian Society of the Deaf.”

Since October 22, the ark with a particle of the relics of the holy blessed Matrona of Moscow has been in the church. The prayer service was performed by the cleric of the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Brest, Priest Leonid Simonchik, and the translation into sign language was carried out by R.V. Pavlovich is a sign language interpreter at the TCSON in the Leninsky district of Brest. Heartfelt prayers were offered to the holy blessed Matrona of Moscow, and at the end of the prayer service the priest spoke about the life path of the holy old woman, after which all those present reverently bowed to the shrine and venerated the ark with the relics.
