Prayer service before the icon of the Mother of God “Healer”translated

On October 1, the day of glorification of the icon of the Mother of God “Healer,” a prayer service was served in the Rossony hospital church-chapel. It was performed by the dean of the Rossony district, Archpriest Alexander Gordevich.

On October 7, 2015, the opening and consecration of this shrine took place in honor of the “Healer” icon of the Mother of God. This is another Orthodox shrine, another spiritual oasis where people bring their joys and sorrows and draw the Divine power that fills this holy place. And even if this is just a small wooden building, however, for believers it is a church filled with prayerful warmth and spirit...

During the prayer service, everyone deeply and heartily prayed to God and the Most Holy Theotokos for health. The common prayer united people so much that they did not go home for a very long time.

After the service, Father Alexander addressed the worshipers with a word in which he spoke about the history of the glorification of the image of the Most Holy Theotokos “Healer” and wished everyone spiritual and physical health.
