Reliket e Shën Anës nga Cutlumushi kanë mbërritur në Rumani: Patriarku Daniel kujtoi lidhjet e manastirit me Vllahinëpërkthyer

Fortlumturia e tij At Patriarku Daniel priti të shtunën në mbrëmje, në Rezidencën Patriarkale, reliket e Shën Anës, nënës së Nënës së Zotit, të sjella në Rumani për herë të parë nga një delegacion i Manastirit Cutlumuş në Shën Malin Athos, me iniciativën e Famullisë "Shën Gheorghe - Nou".

"Ne jemi veçanërisht të lumtur t'ju mirëpresim këtu, në Rezidencën Patriarkale, duke sjellë me Shenjtërinë tuaj reliket e Shën Anës, gjyshes së Shpëtimtarit Jezu Krisht, nënës së Më të Shenjtës Hyjlindëse", tha Patriarku i Rumanisë.

“Etërit e Shenjtë Joakim dhe Anna janë mbrojtësit e të gjithë prindërve të krishterë që kanë familje dhe fëmijë”, kujtoi At Patriarku Daniel.

Fortlumturia e tij kujtoi se aroma, e përbërë nga një pjesë e këmbës së Shën Anës, iu dha manastirit të Athonit nga perandori Alexius Comnenus në vitin 1095.

It's wonderful to hear that the relic of St. Anne's foot, given by Emperor Alexios Komnenos back in 1095, is finally here in Bucharest. My little boy is named after St. Joachim, so this feels especially close to home for our family. I hope the parish of St. George the New brings the relics near enough for us to venerate them soon.

The parish of St. George the New usually posts the full schedule on their site, so you can keep an eye there for when the relics come closer. My daughter took her kids to venerate similar relics last year and said it was a quiet, simple moment that stuck with them.

Cieszę się, że moście z Cutlumuș dotarły w końcu do Rezydencji Patriarhalnej i że Patriarcha Daniel przypomniał o darze od cesarza Aleksego Komnena z 1095 roku – to konkretny kawałek historii. That's a lovely point about naming a son after St. Joachim—my sister and I were just talking about how families here in Portland could draw on that during name days. As for Chicago, from what the parish shared it looks like the relic stays mostly in the DC area this trip, so a drive down might be the way.
