Metropolitan Teofan of Moldova and Bucovina consecrated on Sunday the "Assumption of the Virgin Mary" Church in Moreni Parish, Iași County.

The program continued with the celebration of the Holy Liturgy, where His Eminence explained that the Christian's life is like a wedding to which everyone is called to come prepared.

"When we enter life, we should be dressed beautifully, inside and out, because the wedding is beautiful, life is beautiful and we, as the people say, should be dressed with the best clothes on the outside, and on the inside, with a certain state of mind."

The Metropolitan of Moldova and Bucovina showed that, just as a man prepares his best clothes when he goes to a wedding, he is also called to prepare his soul for the meeting with God.

"The one who has the wedding garment, the beautiful garment for life, is the one who believes in God, the one who kneels before Him, the one who believes that God is the Creator of all that exists and He is also our bearer of care," His Eminence said.
