"We are all in this ship and we are traveling on the waves of life", underlined on Sunday, Metropolitan Laurentiu of Transylvania, at the Hermitage "Change in the Face of God" in Păltiniș, Sibiu county.

Starting from the story about the calming of the storm, His Eminence emphasized that life's trials cannot be overcome only by human strength, but by trusting in God's help.

"Whenever we are put to the test in the works we have to perform, let us not trust only in our powers, let us not think that we are the best fishermen or rowers in the ship."

"Without God's help, we are deprived of the most important thing in our lives", added the Metropolitan of Transylvania.

Ship of communion His Holiness Father Laurentiu explained that the image of the ship in which the disciples were was one of the representations of the Church, in which the faithful advance together towards salvation, having Christ as their protector.

"Great storms and so many temptations arise over the Church that, being on the waves of life, we often cry out to the Savior Jesus Christ: Lord, help us. But we have this certainty...
