The Metropolitan Dositei Filitti will be Honored at the National Archives of Romaniatranslated

The lecture will begin at 6:00 PM and will be delivered by academician Georgeta Filitti. Admission is free, subject to available seats.

The conference highlights the personality of Metropolitan Dositei Filitti, who served as Metropolitan of Ungrovlahia between 1793 and 1810, and his contributions to religious, cultural, and educational life at the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century.

Metropolitan Dositei Filitti is noted for his support of education and printing, as well as his concern for recording births and deaths, and preserving church documents.
