Metropolitan Antonie concluded his visits to the archdiocese by meeting with the clergy and authorities of the Hîncești districttranslated

Metropolitan Antonie of Bessarabia concluded on Friday the series of pastoral-administrative visits carried out in the dioceses of the Archdiocese of Chisinau with a final stop – in the Protoieria Hîncești, where he met with the clergy and local authorities.

The visit began with the Holy Liturgy, officiated by the metropolitan father at the "Saints Archangels Michael and Gabriel" Church in Hîncești. Father Eugeniu Balan, Archpriest of Hîncești, and Father Anatolie Balan, parish priest of the community, took part in the cathedral.

Under the protection of the saints "The saints do not move away from the world after their move to the Lord, but are even closer to every soul that calls them for help," His Eminence emphasized in the teaching speech. "Their intercession springs from love and togetherness."

"When a person places his life under the protection of the saints, he learns to look at every trial as a way to meet God. Prayer to the saints brings peace to the heart, strengthens patience and ignites the longing for the pleasant life of Christ", emphasized His Eminence.
