Metropolitan Barsanuphius celebrated an all-night vigil at the Church of the Nativity of John the Baptist in Yuccatranslated

On the eve of the Feast of the Nativity of the Holy Prophet, Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord John, Metropolitan Barsanuphius of St. Petersburg and Ladoga celebrated an all-night vigil in the Church of the Nativity of John the Baptist in Yucca.
Concelebrating with His Eminence were Bishop Benjamin of Kronstadt, Secretary of the St. Petersburg Diocesan Administration Archpriest Sergiy Kuksevich, Secretary of the Vyborg Diocesan Administration Archpriest Igor Aksyonov, Rector of the Church Archpriest Grigory Grigoriev with the parish clergy and other clergy.
At the end of the service, Metropolitan Barsanuphius addressed the believers with an archpastoral word and donated the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God to the temple.
For their diligent work for the glory of the Holy Church, Archpriest Vladimir Trifonov, Protodeacon Evgeny Oleinikov and Deacon Nikolai Tikhomirov were awarded the medals of St. Arseny Konevsky. Priest Alexander Isyanov was awarded the medal of the Konevskaya Icon of the Mother of God.
The rector of the temple, Archpriest Grigory Grigoriev, thanked the bishop for the joint prayer and presented him with a gift of a painting depicting an angel on the Alexander Column. At the end of the service, believers were given icons of revered saints.
