It is good that young people are going to such schools in Prizren. Metropolitan Theodosius must have had a good talk with them about faith. I wonder if they baked something together there, like we do at our parish meetings.

It is good that young people gather at such spiritual schools in Prizren. Metropolitan Teodosije knows how to speak to them simply and usefully, I think. At our parish, after catechesis, we used to bake apple pies - maybe they did something similar in the evening.

Yes, it's good that young people are gathering in Prizren, especially since Metropolitan Teodosije speaks to them. In our house, after catechesis, the apple pies really disappear quickly, my two-year-old children can't wait to lick the dough spoon. Have you ever tried putting ground walnuts in them too?

Yes, the youth who gather in such spiritual schools in Prizren gain strength. Bishop Theodosius knows how to talk to them simply, as Maria said. At our parish after lessons, we make maamoul with walnuts, but my young children always steal the dough before it reaches the oven.

It is good that young people gather in Prizren at such a school. Metropolitan Theodosius clearly speaks to them intelligibly, as they all write. With us, after the service in Burgas, we sometimes make a pumpkin pie, but the neighbor's children always eat it before we put it in the oven.

Well said, Maria, young people really need such gatherings in Prizren. Metropolitan Teodosije speaks clearly, without flourishes, exactly as it should be. At our parish, after we bake the apple pies, we usually have a few left over for the next day's coffee - I've never added walnuts, but now I'm thinking of trying.

It is good that the children gather right in Prizren, there history is felt at every step. Here in Tarnovo, after Sunday service, we often make apple pie, but it also disappears quickly - my granddaughter is the first to attack the tray. Athanasius, how often do your young people in Burgas come to such schools?

Yes, Constantin, young people really feel good when someone speaks to them directly, without flourishes. Many students of theology come to our pharmacy and they like to hear simple stories from the monasteries just as much. The apple pies sound good, I'll try the walnut-free recipe too - next time the country parents come I'll make them and take them to the parish.

Well said, Constantin, Teodosije really knows how to speak to the understanding of young people without getting lost in big words. In our parish, after the morning fishing on the Dniester, we sometimes bring fresh apples from the market and bake them simply, without nuts, exactly as you say. Have you already tried that new recipe or are you still thinking about it?
