Metropolitan Sergius and Archbishop Theophan celebrated the Divine Liturgy in Seoultranslated

On October 18, 2026, on the 20th Sunday after Pentecost, the Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, Metropolitan Sergius of Singapore and Southeast Asia, and Archbishop Theophan of Korea celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Seoul (Republic of Korea).

The service was performed in Church Slavonic and Korean.

Among those praying in the church was the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Korea G.V. Zinoviev.

At the end of the Liturgy, the archpastors warmly greeted each other, expressing the joy of joint prayer and communication. Then Metropolitan Sergius addressed those gathered with a sermon.

After the service, the bishops talked with parishioners over tea.
