Metropolitan Nikita celebrated the Liturgy on the patronal feast of the Church of the Archangel Michael and his miracle in Khoneh in the city of Krasnoyarsktranslated

On September 19, the 16th Week after Pentecost, on the day of Remembrance of the miracle of the Archangel Michael, who was in Khoneh (Colossae), Metropolitan Nikita of Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Archangel Michael and his miracle in Khoneh in the city of Krasnoyarsk.

His Eminence was served by the rector of the church, Archpriest Alexander Sadovyuk, and clergy from Krasnoyarsk churches.

The church choir performed the liturgical chants.

During the Liturgy, special petitions and prayers for Holy Rus' were offered. With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus', this special prayer is performed in all churches of the Russian Orthodox Church at every service.

The sermon on the sacramental verse was delivered by the confessor of the diocesan youth department, the regular cleric of the church, Priest Maxim Snurnikov.

At the end of the Liturgy, a religious procession was held, after which Bishop Nikita addressed those gathered with an archpastoral word.

The head of the Krasnoyarsk Metropolis presented memorial signs “165 years of the formation of the Krasnoyarsk (Yenisei) Diocese” to the clergy of the church, as well as a number of assistants.

Metropolitan Nikita also inspected the construction site of an additional building for the Sunday school.
