On September 20, during the Sixteenth Week after Pentecost, preceding the Exaltation of the Cross, Metropolitan Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk Nikita celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the church of the Holy Martyrs Faith, Hope, Love, and Their Mother Sophia in Krasnoyarsk.

His Eminence was assisted by: the head of the eparchial department for religious education and catechesis, the rector of the church of the Holy Martyrs Faith, Hope, Love, and Their Mother Sophia in Krasnoyarsk, Father Andrei Babin, and clergy from Krasnoyarsk churches.

The liturgical chants were performed by the choir of the church.

After the Liturgy, special prayers and a prayer for Holy Rus' were raised. By the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, this special prayer is recited in all parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church after each service.

The priest on duty at the church, Father Simeon Kabirov, delivered the sermon according to the post-communion psalm.

After the Liturgy of Repose, Metropolitan Nikita performed a thanksgiving service for the Holy Martyrs Faith, Hope, Love, and Their Mother Sophia and addressed the worshippers with an archpastoral word.

The head of the Krasnoyarsk metropolitanate presented commemorative medals "165 Years Since the Formation of the Krasnoyarsk (Yenisei) Eparchy" to Father Andrei Babin and Father Simeon Kabirov.

Thanks be to God that Archbishop Nikita served in the Church of Faith, Hope, Love, and Wisdom. It was beautiful to hear that Father Simeon Kabirov gave the sermon and that both he and Father Andrej Babin received commemorative medals for 165 years of the eparchy. The Prayer for Holy Russia is now at every Liturgy, and that is important.
