Metropolitan Nikita celebrated the Liturgy at the Krasnoyarsk Church of the Hieromartyr Amphilochiustranslated

On September 8, on the day of the Presentation of the Vladimir Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos, Metropolitan Nikita of Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Hieromartyr Amphilochius, Bishop of Krasnoyarsk and all the saints who shone in the land of Krasnoyarsk, the city of Krasnoyarsk.

His Eminence was served by: the dean of the prison churches of the Krasnoyarsk Metropolis, the rector of the church, Priest Rodion Petrikov, and the clergy of the churches of Krasnoyarsk.

The church choir performed the liturgical chants. The head of the GUFSIN of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Lieutenant General of the Internal Service Anton Efarkin, employees of the department, as well as the medical staff of the hospital of the GUFSIN of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory prayed at the Liturgy

During the Liturgy, special petitions and prayers for Holy Rus' were offered. With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus', this special prayer is performed in all churches of the Russian Orthodox Church at every service. A funeral litany was read for the employees of the penitentiary system who died in the line of duty.

The sermon on the sacramental verse was delivered by the regular cleric of the church, Archpriest Evgeniy Alexandrov.

It’s good that both employees and doctors from the GUFSIN hospital prayed at the Liturgy. I wonder how often General Efarkin comes to this church? And Father Evgeniy’s sermon is always so heartfelt, I remember him from past services.

It’s good that the doctors from the hospital came to pray along with everyone else. I remembered that they offered a prayer for Holy Rus' and a funeral prayer for the dead employees - this is correct. And Father Evgeniy really preaches well, I also heard him a couple of times.

It's good that the doctors from the HUFSYN hospital were on duty with everyone. I remember how in our Kharkiv church they also prayed for those who died in service - it always sounds very humane. And their choir, judging by everything, sang well, because it always does when the service is on the day of the Volodymyr icon.
