Metropolitan Nikita celebrated the Liturgy in the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in the city of Nazarovotranslated

On October 25, the 21st Sunday after Pentecost, on the day of the celebration of the memory of the holy fathers of the VII Ecumenical Council, Metropolitan Nikita of Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in the city of Nazarovo.

His Eminence was served by: the dean of the churches of the Nazarovo district, the rector of the church, Archpriest Evgeniy Neshcheret, and clergy of the Krasnoyarsk diocese.

The church choir performed the liturgical chants.

During the Liturgy, special petitions and prayers for Holy Rus' were offered. With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus', this special prayer is performed in all churches of the Russian Orthodox Church at every service.

The sermon on the sacramental verse was delivered by the regular cleric of the church, Priest Vladimir Zolotukhin.

After the dismissal of the Liturgy, Bishop Nikita addressed those gathered with an archpastoral word and presented the memorial sign “165 years of the formation of the Krasnoyarsk (Yenisei) Diocese” to the church’s ktitor Alexander Aul.
