On November 5, in the Bishops' House of Krasnoyarsk, Metropolitan Nikita of Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk held a working meeting with the acting rector of the Krasnoyarsk State Medical University named after Professor V.F. Voino-Yasenetsky Vadim Boykov.

The meeting was also attended by the head of the office of the Krasnoyarsk diocesan administration, the personal secretary-referent of the head of the metropolis, Priest Vladimir Luzhkov, and the vice-rector of Krasnoyarsk State Medical University for organizational and legal work, Maxim Oreshnikov.

The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation between the educational institution and the Krasnoyarsk diocese, as well as possible areas of joint work in the field of spiritual and moral education and training of future doctors.

Bishop Nikita noted the importance of such interaction, emphasizing that Krasnoyarsk Medical University, having long traditions, has always been and remains one of the leading universities in the country, and blessed Vadim Andreevich for his work for the benefit of the development of medical education in Krasnoyarsk land.
