Metropolitan Nikita held the first general meeting on youth ministry issuestranslated

On October 17, the first general meeting on youth ministry issues was held in the conference hall of the Bishops' House of Krasnoyarsk, chaired by Metropolitan Nikita of Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk. The main topic of the meeting was the organization and determination of the main directions of youth ministry in the Krasnoyarsk diocese.

The meeting opened with a common prayer. Then Bishop Nikita addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.

The head of the agency for youth policy and implementation of social development programs in the region, Viktor Kolomiets, made a report on the interaction of the Krasnoyarsk diocese with the regional youth policy agency.

The board discussed the state of youth work in deaneries and the development of parish youth associations. We focused on information interaction and coverage of youth activities in the diocese. The issue of organizing interaction between the specialized department and deaneries and parishes was also raised. In conclusion, a general diocesan plan and a unified calendar of youth events for 2027 were formed.

At the end of the meeting, Metropolitan Nikita blessed those gathered for further work and thanked them for their work.
