Metropolitan Nikita and Metropolitan Ignatius celebrated an all-night vigil in the Cathedral of the Epiphany in the city of Yeniseisktranslated

On September 12, on the eve of the 15th Sunday after Pentecost, Metropolitan Nikita of Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk and Metropolitan Ignatius of Perm and Kungur celebrated an all-night vigil in the Cathedral of the Epiphany in the city of Yeniseisk.

Concelebrating with the archpastors were: the secretary of the Yenisei diocese, Archpriest Ilya Koshlyak, and the clergy of the Krasnoyarsk Metropolis.

The liturgical chants were performed by the cathedral choir.

The head of the Krasnoyarsk Metropolis anointed the worshipers with oil, and at the end of the service, he addressed those gathered with an archpastoral word.

On September 12 and 13, festive services are held in Yeniseisk in honor of the solemn date - the 15th anniversary of the Yenisei diocese.

An independent diocese was formed on May 30, 2011 by the decision of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church by separating it from the Krasnoyarsk diocese. And on October 6, 2011, by decision of the Synod, the Krasnoyarsk Metropolis was formed, which included the Yenisei and Krasnoyarsk dioceses.
