On October 22, 2026, Metropolitan Nikandr of Vladimir and Suzdal, Chairman of the Financial and Economic Administration of the Moscow Patriarchate, took part in the regular meeting of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church. The meeting took place at the Patriarchal and Synodal residence in the Danilov Monastery in Moscow under the chairmanship of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.

Opening the meeting, the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church welcomed the members of the Holy Synod and announced the agenda.
