Metropolitan Longin took part in the celebrations at the Trinity-Sergius Lavratranslated

On the eve of the holiday and on the day of the discovery of the honorable relics of St. Sergius, abbot of Radonezh, solemn services were held in the Trinity-Sergius Lavra, which were led by His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus'.
On July 17, in the Trinity Cathedral, at the relics of St. Sergius, His Holiness the Patriarch led the service of Little Vespers with the reading of an akathist to the Rev.
Then His Holiness Patriarch Kirill celebrated an all-night vigil on the Lavra’s Cathedral Square. The solemn service was performed in front of the revered icon of St. Sergius of Radonezh. His Holiness was concelebrated by a host of bishops who arrived at the Lavra, including Metropolitan Longin of Simbirsk and Novospassky.
To celebrate the festive all-night vigil and Divine Liturgy, a platform was built on Cathedral Square, and a throne was set up in the canopy in front of the Dormition Cathedral of the Lavra.
On July 18, on the day of memory of St. Sergius of Radonezh, the Primate of the Russian Church celebrated the Divine Liturgy on the Cathedral Square of the Lavra in the co-service of the Council of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church. Metropolitan Longin also took part in the Patriarchal service.
