On June 6-7, 2026, Metropolitan Maximilian of Irkutsk and Angarsk made a working visit to the Fraternal Diocese. On June 6, the Bishop visited the village of Dubinino in the Bratsk district, where Bishop Konstantin of Bratsk and Ust-Ilimsk consecrated the Poklonny Cross, erected in memory of the flooded village of Dubinino and its inhabitants. The village of Dubinino traces its history back to 1605. Here was the Holy Trinity Church, closed in the 1930s during the years of anti-church persecution. In 1972, the village ceased to exist, going under water. At the end of the rite of consecration, the archpastors addressed the parishioners and all those gathered with welcoming words, in which they recalled the creative power of God and the importance of preserving spiritual shrines for future generations. After praying at the Poklonny Cross, the bishops visited the construction site of the lost temple in honor of the Holy Trinity. At the end of the trip on the evening of June 6, Bishop Maximilian took part in a meeting of the Bishops' Council of the Irkutsk Metropolis, and on the morning of June 7, on All Saints' Week, he led the service of the Divine Liturgy in co-service with Bishop Alexy of Sayan and Nizhneudinsk and Bishop Konstantin of Bratsk and Ust-Ilimsk.
