On October 8, 2026, on the day of the repose of St. Sergius, abbot of Radonezh, wonderworker, Metropolitan Theodosius of Samara and Novokuybyshevsk took part in the Divine Liturgy in the Intercession Church of the Moscow Theological Academy. With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus', the service was led by Metropolitan Theodosius of Tambov and Rasskazovsky. Concelebrating with him were Metropolitan Theodosius of Samara and Novokuybyshevsk, Metropolitan Sergius of Barnaul and Altai, Metropolitan Bartholomew of Novosibirsk and Berdsk, Archbishop of Vitebsk and Orsha Dimitri, Bishop of Amur and Chegdomyn Nikolai, Bishop of Buzuluk and Sorochinsk Alexy, Bishop of Pereslavl and Uglich Theoktist, Bishop of Kostomuksha and Kem Boris, Bishop of Pinsk and Luninets Georgy, Bishop of Syzran and Shigon Anthony. At the special litany, special petitions were proclaimed for our Fatherland and its defenders. Then a prayer was offered for Holy Rus'. According to tradition, festive bishop's services were performed in other churches of the monastery.
