Metropolitan Theodosius took part in the celebration of the Synaxis of Saratov Saintstranslated

On September 13, the 15th Sunday after Pentecost and the day of the celebration of the Council of Saratov Saints, Metropolitan Theodosius of Samara and Novokuybyshevsk took part in the bishop’s service in the Intercession Cathedral of Saratov. The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Metropolitan Ignatius of Saratov and Volsk, Metropolitan Theodosius of Samara and Novokuybyshevsk, Metropolitan Bartholomew of Novosibirsk and Berdsk, Bishop Innokenty of Balakovo and Nikolaev, Bishop Theodore of Pokrovsk and Novouzensk, Bishop Nestor of Tolyatti and Zhigulevsky, Bishop Theodorit of Venev, Bishop Feognost of Shchigrovsky and Manturovsky and Bishop Anthony of Syzran and Shigonsky. The clergy of Saratov and other dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church served with the bishops. During the service, a prayer was offered for Holy Rus' and a funeral litany was performed for all those who died on Saratov soil during the years of persecution of the Church. During the Liturgy, Metropolitan Ignatius performed the diaconal ordination of Subdeacon Daniil Kondrashin.
