Metropolitan Feodosius took part in the opening of the 19th International Film Festival “Salt of the Earth”translated

On September 14, the opening ceremony of the 19th International Film Festival “Salt of the Earth” was held at the Khudozhestvenny Center for Russian Cinematography named after T. A. Ivanova. Among the honored guests, the event was attended by the head of the Samara Metropolis, Metropolitan Feodosius of Samara and Novokuibyshevsk. Speaking to the participants and organizers of the film forum, His Eminence Bishop Theodosius noted the significance of the presented works, emphasizing that documentary films show living life and truth. The head of the metropolis also pointed out the importance of the Gospel commandments about the search for truth and its witness to people, highly appreciating the educational and spiritual and moral significance of the “Salt of the Earth” festival. As part of the opening of the film festival, its president Maria Mikhailovna Serkova addressed the audience, drawing attention to the wide geography of participants and the high authority of the jury members.
