Metropolitan Theodosius handed over to the Nizhny Tagil diocese an icon of the holy righteous Alexander Chagrinsky with a particle of his relicstranslated

On September 24, Metropolitan Feodosius of Samara and Novokuybyshevsk took part in the celebrations marking the 15th anniversary of the Nizhny Tagil diocese. A festive Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Nizhny Tagil. Praying during the service were Metropolitan Ekaterinburg and Verkhoturye Evgeniy, Metropolitan Feodosius of Samara and Novokuybyshevsk, Bishop Feognost of Serov and Krasnoturinsky, Bishop Pavel of Trinity and South Ural, Bishop Sergius of Alapaevsk and Irbit, Bishop Meliton of Nizhny Tagil and Nevyansk, clergy and numerous believers. Before the start of the Liturgy, the ark containing a particle of the relics of St. Andrew the First-Called was solemnly greeted in the cathedral. At the end of the service, the archpastors and clergy performed glorification and offered a prayer to the holy apostle. At the end of the celebrations, Metropolitan Theodosius presented Bishop Meliton of Nizhny Tagil and Nevyansk with an icon of the holy righteous Alexander of Chagrinsky with a particle of his relics.
