On October 18, 2026, on his 55th birthday, Metropolitan Vasily of Ekaterinodar and Kuban celebrated the Divine Liturgy at St. Catherine’s Cathedral in the city of Krasnodar.

At the entrance to the cathedral, the Metropolitan was met by representatives of the city and regional administration, monastics, Cossacks, students of Sunday schools and parish youth communities, representatives of the “Brotherhood of Orthodox Pathfinders,” as well as numerous parishioners.

Concelebrating with His Eminence were: His Eminence Metropolitans of Samara and Novokuybyshevsk Feodosius, Astrakhan and Kamyzyak Nikon; His Eminence Archbishop Nicholas of Salekhard and Novo-Urengoy; Your Eminence Bishops Veniamin of Rybinsk and Romano-Borisoglebsk, Sergius of Novorossiysk and Gelendzhik, Stefan of Tikhoretsk and Korenovsk, Savva of Armavir and Labinsk, Seraphim of Yeisk and Timashevsk; as well as the clergy of the Kuban Metropolis.
