Metropolitan Alexy led the all-night vigil at the Holy Trinity Church in Chelyabinsktranslated

On the evening of August 8, on the eve of the celebration of the memory of the great martyr and healer Panteleimon, the all-night vigil with lithium in the Holy Trinity Church of Chelyabinsk was led by Metropolitan Alexy of Chelyabinsk and Miass. The ruling bishop was co-served by the rector of the church, the secretary of the Chelyabinsk diocese, Archpriest Igor Shestakov, and other clergy. For the parish of the Holy Trinity Church, the feast of St. Panteleimon is patronal. The southern aisle of the church was consecrated in honor of this saint of God. The icon of the great martyr and healer Panteleimon with a particle of his relics is kept here. The shrine was given to Chelyabinsk residents in the 19th century by the monks of Holy Mount Athos, along with part of the relics of the holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called. During the service, an akathist to the healer Panteleimon was read. Bishop Alexy anointed the believers with consecrated oil. At the end of the service, the archpastor congratulated the parishioners on the holiday: “May the Lord, through the prayers of the holy great martyr and healer Panteleimon, grant us, first of all, the salvation of our souls. And when the soul is saved, the body will be healthy.
