The representatives of the metropolis began the steps to identify the concrete needs of the communities affected by the earthquake in Colombia. Through Father Daniel Adrian Ene, diocesan vicar and delegate for Latin America, contacts were initiated with the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cali and with representatives of the competent authorities and structures in Valle del Cauca.
"We are waiting for the assessment of these needs so that, in the coming days and weeks, the Romanian Orthodox Metropolis of the two Americas will provide financial support and material aid, to the extent of our possibilities, for the families affected by this tragedy", emphasized Metropolitan Nicolae.
