The Metropolis of Bessarabia and the Academy of Sciences of Moldova will collaborate on new cultural projectstranslated

The Metropolis of Bessarabia and the Academy of Sciences of Moldova will collaborate for the realization of new cultural projects.

The discussions took place on Monday, at the headquarters of the academic institution from the Republic of Moldova, between the Most Reverend Father Antonie and the president Ion Tighineanu, the vice-presidents Eva Gudumac and Ion Hadârcă, the general secretary Liliana Condraticova, as well as other representatives of the academic community.

Historical memory recovery One of the topics addressed was the identification of ways in which scientific research and church institutions can contribute together to the valorization of the Romanian cultural and spiritual heritage in Bessarabia.

In this sense, the possibilities of creating works and monographs dedicated to places of worship in the region were discussed, as well as initiatives to promote the personalities who contributed to the development of these components.

Among the proposals were the organization of events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Metropolitan Antonie Plămădeala, the setting up of a museum dedicated to the hierarch in his hometown, as well as the preparation of a commemorative event in 2027, at...
